On December 2nd and 3rd, 2018, the Academic Writing Class of the “Advanced TCFL Training Program” by the International Society for Chinese Language Teaching was held at Sichuan Normal University in Chengdu just before the 13th Confucius Institute Conference (Chengdu, China).
Itinerary
“Advanced TCFL Training Program” Internship Tour at Confucius Institute in Chiang Mai, Thailand
Itinerary
Day 1 Arrive at Chiang Mai → Visit Confucius Institute → Collective preparation of classes
Day 2 Sit in on local Chinese classes → Practice teaching as a Chinese language teaching assistant
Day 3 Practice teaching as a Chinese language teaching assistant → Organize cultural activities
Day 4 Sit in on local Chinese classes → Practice teaching as a Chinese language teaching assistant
Day 5 Practice teaching in HSK test preparation → Communications with Chinese language teachers and students at the Confucius Institute
Day 6 Cultural tour to experience local culture
Day 7 Receive internship certificate → Return to China

Open to self-funded intern teachers as well
Internship fee: RMB 5,000
Application for self-funded internship: fees and policy
A payment of RMB 500 is required for the application. Prior to the application deadline, the application could be cancelled and the payment shall be fully refunded.
After the closing date for application (when the deadline arrives or no vacancy is available), we will inform you to pay for the remaining part of the fee.
Application deadline: June 15, 2019
The fee covers:
Hotel accommodation;
Meals during the internship;
School internship, visit and materials;
Overseas travel insurance.
The above information is for reference only and the actual cost is subject to the contract.
The fee doesn’t cover:
International flights, visa, passport, phone bills, entrance tickets to scenic spots, transportations in China, any other personal expenses;
Medical expenses for injury and disease, transportation to and from hospital; and
Other expenses not included.
