Young Envoys for Hanfeng Mutual-Learning Program Boost Cultural Exchanges
On the morning of April 11, 2019, the Secretary-General Vladimir Norov of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) met with President Zou Mingchun of Beijing Social Development and Environmental Health Research (SDEH) and his delegation at the headquarters of the SCO Secretariat. They held talks on environment, health, education, cultural tourism, among other topics, and conducted in-depth exchanges on the establishment of joint working groups and the latest work, leading to a series of consensuses.
SCO Deputy Secretary-General Sherali Saidamir Jonon (1st R), SDEH Vice President Ding Yi (3rd L), and council members Hao Qiang and Kou Xiaodong attend the meeting.
At the upcoming 19th SCO Summit this year, the young envoys for Confucius Institute Headquarters Young Envoy for Hanfeng Mutual-learning Program will assist in relevant activities of the event and take on their civic responsibilities to promote Chinese culture. Tsinghua University High School (Wen-an-yi) has been invited to join in. We’re confident that the young envoys will do a great job in the international cultural communication, while presenting to the world the image of Chinese young citizens in the new era.
